POST WEDDING DEPRESSION is a rampant costume drama that moves through bullfights, post-modern dance and expressive disco solos. Four dancers take over the school yard, the square, the mall or the conference with a pop-up performance that begins as suddenly as it disappears.
In POST WEDDING DEPRESSION, the audience is offered an escape from reality to a wedding with extra everything. The performance turns ideas of femininity and the dream of being a bride upside down. Through close encounters with the dancers, the audience is moved both figuratively and literally. Everyone gets a chance to shine in a foxtrot and all at once, only the audience remains.
