A WIND IS COMING

Someone calls out. You answer. Yoou get an idea, that you forget. You let go and get carried away, like starlings moving together.

There is a great deal of chance in the way our lives unfold. One of the fundamental conditions of being human is that life is uncertain. In the performance, the audience follows a chain of events that cannot be predicted or controlled. Inspired by Fortuna, the Roman goddess who capriciously distributes fortune and misfortune, we explore the power of going with the flow. A wind is coming. Hold on!

A WIND IS COMING is an uncompromising dance performance for three dancers and a primary school class. The students are invited into a performing arts experience in which they actively participate, following instructions through headphones and being guided by the dancers.
