REALITY IS ROUND allows us to meet in the grand and irrational, exploring the limits of the voice and the body. The performance takes its starting point in the unique ability of small children for devoted play and unrestricted interest in their surroundings. Through movement, light, sound, and form, the performance explores human connection and encounters beyond language. We bounce and rest in an echo, make sounds, and roll over a dark sea. The performance assumes that language can never capture reality as it is, as concepts are angular while REALITY IS ROUND.

REALITY IS ROUND is a participatory dance performance for children aged 1-3 and their adults. Two dancers and a musician invite you into an imaginative space that sparks curiosity and creates space for encounters among everyone participating in the work. The audience enters the space, and the performers follow, support, and evolve. Through attentive listening to what happens in the room, no performance is like the other.

Reality
cannot be captured by language
Reality
is attention everywhere all at once
Reality
both is and is not
Reality
is listening and supporting
Reality
is round
